Step 2

Schedule an Introduction Call

Now that you’ve watched the video series, schedule an Introduction Call to get straight answers to all your questions.

Step 3

Book a ride along

Spend the day with a Jim, get your hands dirty, ask questions and learn all you can. We think you’re really going to love it… just as much as we do!

Step 4

Disclosure Package

After your ride-along, request a disclosure package. This package contains all the documents you will need to sign, financial disclosures on the Franchisors, the manuals and the phone numbers of all the Franchisees past and present. Your 14-Day cooling off period begins now.

Step 5

Due Diligence

Use your 14-Day cooling off period to take the disclosure package to your accountant, business advisor and lawyer for advice, and call as many of our Franchisees as you wish and ask questions concerning their experience as a Wow Mowing Franchisee.

You can also use your 14-day cooling off period to begin your classroom and field training. One of the best things about a Jim’s Franchise is that you can take all the training before you buy.

step 6

Book your 6-day training in Melbourne

That’s correct, you can take our entire 6-Day training course and learn everything we know about running a landscape maintenance business without purchasing a franchise, for free (you only pay for your flights, meals and accommodation on campus).

MELBOURNE TRAINING IS NOW ONLINE DUE TO COVID-19

Step 7

Sign your document package and make payment

Now that you know everything we do, you’ve spoken to all our Franchisees and they’ve confirmed that this is not “too good to be true”, you’re ready to sign your Franchise agreement and start your 10 days of field training in Vancouver, BC.

Step 8

Complete your 10-Day training in Vancouver

Spend 10 days with us learning the tools, how to quote and perform the work profitably, productively and cost effectively. This is also when we will be supplying you with the software and training to run your business like a well-oiled machine. We’ll have you booking jobs, invoicing and collecting payments with confidence in no time!

The Virtual Ride Along

Wow Mowing Franchisees in Canada earn between $150,000 and $500,000 per year in gross revenue. We have more than enough business for double the Franchisees we have now. In 2018 we turned away over 1,400 new customers because we didn’t have enough Franchisees to service demand. New Franchisees can take as much work as they want, wherever they want, whenever they want. As long as our customers are well serviced, you can build the business of your dreams.

The initial franchise cost is $27,500. Training is included, but you will need to budget approximately $3,500 for travel expenses for flights, meals and accommodation at our 25-acre training campus complete with hotel and conference centre in Australia. Our base model aluminum Wow Mowing trailer is $9,895 and our base equipment package is $5,800.00. Both the trailer and equipment can be leased from our leasing partners. ***Because of Covid-19 travel restrictions training is online. Travel to Australia is not required.***

$688.50 a month franchise fee (Fixed – Not a percentage of revenue) – Net of $90 compliance discount.

$153.00 advertising fund. Everyone pays into this fund every month so we can advertise the brand collectively and bring in new business. In 2018 we brought in over 3,000 new customers in BC (and we had to turn away 1,400 of them because we didn’t have enough franchisees to service them).

$14.29 per lead. When you need new/more customers, we will send you new leads for $14.29 each. The first 50 leads for all new franchisees are free.

The short answer? We don’t. Wow Mowing is one of the only franchise systems in the world where we do not charge a percentage-based franchise fee. With Wow Mowing you can build your business as large as you like, with multiple vehicles and trailers, while always paying our flat monthly franchise fee ($688.50) no matter how big your business gets. You get the opportunity to build the business of your dreams, big or small, and your franchisor is always supporting your choice. With Wow Mowing there is no franchisor always pushing you to work more because they may a percentage of your revenue.

Quoting is one of the most difficult skills to master in the trades. It takes most tradespeople several years to learn how to quote effectively, but our coaches at Wow Mowing have broken down the process into simple steps that are easy to learn, so we’ll have you quoting like a pro in no time. In addition, you’ll have over 45 franchisees helping and supporting you every day. We’re all in this together.
